I’m Nancy Schoenheide. I am a lifelong business connector that helps clients build strong strategic communication and engagement plans to support their visionary work.

For well over three decades, I’ve worked at the crossroads of media, community engagement, sustainability, and the arts — helping complex, mission-driven projects move from inspired ideas to structured, sustainable reality.

As a Media and Community Relations Strategist, I’ve led stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects across the United States.

My recent work has supported multinational renewable energy clients navigating regulatory complexity, local community relationships, and long-term partnership development.

I also forged national and global impact partnerships with multiple education and environmental non-profit organizations on behalf of clients.

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with entrepreneurs, indie music artists, film creatives, nonprofits, festivals, and cultural institutions, often simultaneously — building brand clarity, media strategy, change-agent initiatives and compelling sponsorship programs, combined with breakthrough story-focused marketing campaigns that cut through clutter.

My early background as an executive in Rock Radio for legendary stations in both Michigan and California helped set the stage for a lifelong love affair with the power of music and how it can change the world.

As Executive Director /Co-Producer of the Detroit Music Awards in the 90s and oughts, I gained a deep appreciation for how music culture unites and elevates communities through every genre.

From helping relaunch and rebrand the Michigan State Fair as the first private entity State Fair in the nation, while co-creating branded musical talent showcases (State Fair Superstar, Michigan MegaJam) and elevating focus on agricultural youth education (MSF Urban Agriculture Scholarships) to strengthening sustainability messaging and reach for the Detroit Regional Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, and mentoring countless artists, entrepreneurs and visionaries in pursuit of their dreams…
